Victoria Falls

Days 1 - 3

Optional, excluded activities are focused on Victoria Falls and range from daredevil white-water rafting, bungee jumping, and micro-light flights to serene day and sunset boat cruises.

For animal lovers, guided nature and bird walks are available as are day trips to Mosi-o-Tunya National Park and Chobe on the Botswana border. And of course, you can’t go wrong with a day spent in camp, practicing the forgotten art of hibernation.

Kafue

Day 3

Flight transfer

You will be collected from Tongabezi Lodge and driven to Livingstone International Airport for your flight to Kafue Airstrip. You will be met on arrival at Kafue Airstrip and driven to Chisa Busanga 'The Nest' Camp.

2hrs

Check in to Chisa Busanga 'The Nest' Camp

Chisa is the Nyanja word for ‘birds nest’, and the rooms were inspired by the weaver bird nests that decorate the trees here. Sitting on a small tree-lined island, the camp uses only solar power as do the game drive vehicle and bicycles used to explore the watery dambos beyond. Chisa Busanga Camp celebrates the natural and cultural heritage of the Busanga Plains, a place that will leave an indelible imprint on your mind.

The four Nests blend seamlessly into the wild outdoors, while paying attention to the creature comforts needed inside for a luxurious nesting and sleeping experience.

The days in Busanga are blissful. Mornings begin gently navigating the plains in the electric Land Cruiser and stopping in the bush to enjoy a breakfast prepared over hot coals. After a late afternoon walking safari, evenings wind down with stargazing and storytelling around the campfire.

Why you'll love it

The camps rooms are built to mimic the weaver bird nests that decorate the trees around Busanga Plains. During your safari experience, be able witness one of the most untouched wilderness areas in Africa, as you come across some of the most diverse wildlife in the area.
