Safari from the skies by hot air balloon

Leave camp before dawn-break when the air is still cool and the nighttime rabble is returning from the hunt. Take to the skies in real style and float lazily above one of Africa's most stunning wilderness areas in a hot air balloon. Gaze over the scenic wonderland of Kafue and watch as fish eagles soar past at eye level and hippos grunt their loud calls in the river far below. You will be amazed as your pilot skilfully manoeuvres the balloon to skim the water. Some parts of Kafue are unreachable for most of the year and seeing it from the air is pure magic. The flight is rounded off with a traditional celebratory breakfast back on the ground (champagne mandatory!).

Timings

Leaving pre-dawn, when the air is cool, is a given for this experience. The transfer to the launch site can be fairly long as well.

This is a shared experience where you'll travel, fly and enjoy breakfast as a group. Hot air ballooning is also weather-dependent.
