In the dry semi-arid heart of the Kalahari Desert in South Africa is the vast Tswalu Kalahari, the largest, privately-owned reserve in the country, with the lowest number of guests for its size (100 000 ha). The reserve is a place of incredible wildlife rarities, known for its desert black rhino, habituated meerkat, cheetah, sable antelope and rare aardvark and pangolin.
