What you'll do
As you drive across the verdant plains of the Masai Mara, you'll likely hear the thunder of hooves before you catch sight of the ever-surreal Great Migration.
Thousands upon thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle make their annual revolution from the Serengeti to the grassy plains of Kenya, swiftly stalked by lion and leopard. Having crossed over the Mara River in search of sustenance, the group remains in Kenya from late August until they start their return journey to Tanzania in November.
