The great wildebeest migration

On a continent known to host some of the planet's greatest wildlife experiences, there’s still one that eclipses them all – the magnificent, spine-tingling Great Migration. The largest movement of herd animals in the world (by a long way!), this is the annual journey of millions of wildebeest across Tanzania’s Serengeti plains to the Masai Mara in Kenya and back again in their quest for food. There’s something to see whenever you visit, be it a frenzied stampede between the mouths of Nile crocodiles or the birth of thousands of mini beasties. All you need ask is "When shall we go?"
