At the Baitong's centre is a greenery-laden garden with a hot tub that cascades into the infinity pool below, while a glass-bottomed pool sits in another area of the property. There are three on-site options for dining or drinks including rooftop bar, Lantern, where you can take in shimmering city views whilst sipping on craft cocktails. A fantastic breakfast is served on the 6th floor, which is where you'll also dine on the spectacular seafood of Kuang. The Baitong Cafe is just the spot to pick up some java.
There are 106 rooms and suites split into 10 categories, each slick with a distinctive Asian flair. Large beds are draped in luxury linens and perfectly fluffed pillows, and the rooms are equipped with all the mod cons including a smart TV and high-speed wifi. The bathrooms are a delight with a stylish, minimalist look, geometric tiles and ready and waiting robes. Certain rooms enjoy a spacious terrace (some with a pool view) and one category enjoys its own jacuzzi and steam room. The suites have added amenities including a separate lounge area.
When you're not relaxing poolside or enjoying a massage at the spa, there's plenty to see in the vicinity. Marvel at grand Khmer architecture at the Royal Palace and next door Silver Pagoda, admire the fascinating artefacts at the National Museum of Cambodia or see the hilltop Wat Phnom temple. Experience the heart-wrenching history of Cambodia at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) or Choeung Ek Killing Fields. If you're up for a bit of shopping, head to the central market (and its famous dome) or enjoy a cruise on the Mekong River.
