About Baobab Tented Camp
The Baobab Serengeti is an oasis on the banks of the Orange River. Stay Serengeti National Park’s central region. In the midst of breathtaking nature, pure tranquility will be be found.
This camp honours and celebrates the complex ecosystem of the region. To promote sustainable tourism, this eco-camp uses solar energy to power electricity and hot water. And guests can help keep this ecosystem healthy while keeping their carbon-footprint light by joining the staff in their efforts to compost, recycle, and reuse waste materials.
Each of the eco-tents is furnished with a comfortable king or twin beds and fresh linens to welcome you to bed after a day in the bush. The tents are self-contained, offering reading lamps, a luggage rack, and fully-equipped bathroom.

The Serengeti National Park is an ecologically rich environment and home to vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, Thomson's gazelle and buffalo grazing on the sweet grasses of the savannah. Even after the Great Migration has moved through, the game viewing is exceptional in this region. The predators are never far off, with cheetah and lion in abundance and leopard readily seen in the Seronera region of the Central Serengeti. Enjoy expansive grasslands, acacia thickets, meru kopjes (granitic hills) and riverine forests.
