About Casa del Arzobispado

A handsome, historic casa with a prime address in central Cartagena de Indias.
Originally constructed in the 17th century by one of the heroes of Cartagena's independence, Casa del Arzobispado fits right into the city's historic centre. In fact, it's just a few cobblestones away from some of Cartagena de Indias' most prominent sights including the Palace of the Inquisition. However, once you enter the casa walls, you'll find yourself in an oasis of courtyards draped in greenery and a pretty swimming pool. It's the perfect antidote to a few hours of trawling Cartagena's architecture and streets and if you're ever at a loss for what to do next, the staff will happily share their wisdom.
