The property

The main area of Chuiba consists of a spacious open-plan lounge and dining room beneath a shaggy makuti roof, with lovely views through the trees of the beach and ocean beyond. Several secluded indoor nooks and shaded outdoor retreats offer plenty of space to relax. The lodge has a small gym, with a natural Jacuzzi and wellness spa in a tranquil spot beneath the trees. Dinners are often served around an open fire in the traditional boma.

Six beautifully appointed bungalows have spacious interiors, with double or twin beds beneath mosquito nets, and superb en-suite bathrooms. The rooms open onto private patios, with fantastic sea views. Décor is stylish yet understated, as natural tones and textures mix well with contemporary touches for an altogether pleasing sense of luxury. For families, the delightful three-bedroomed villa, with its own swimming pool, is a great option. All have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and satellite television with a DVD player.
