The front steps lead past stone elephants onto the veranda which is decked out with wicker chairs and a sunny, central courtyard. With fresh ingredients from the kitchen garden, lunch can be enjoyed on the lawns overlooking the lake and home-style Mewari specialties are served in the casual dining room, accompanied by anecdotes from your hosts. Surrounded by swaying palms, the pool occupies a secluded spot in the garden and the spa room is at your disposal for a relaxing massage.
With simple but lovely decor, the seven spacious suites each come with dark wood furnishings set against red and blue silks, with patterned carpets. En-suite bathrooms are decked out with marble counter tops and ornate mirrors, with Kama Ayurveda toiletries for your use.
