With only four suites, you'll feel like the only people on the planet... Well, in the reserve at least!
Combine Leadwood with one of the other Dulini lodges and enjoy a guided walking safari between them.
Leadwood is the last word in privacy so if you're looking for dinner companions and someone to share a whisky with at the fire, this isn't the one for you.
Natural hues, polished stone floors and robust timber elements have been skillfully used to marvellous effect. Towering jackalberry trees and cool thatch provide shady spots throughout the guest areas, with quiet corners on different levels to enjoy a drink and watch wildlife coming down to the river. A large swimming pool is an enticing option during the intense summer heat. Delicious meals are served in the open-air dining room, or around a crackling fire in the boma under the stars.
Four lavish private suites are set along the river banks in secluded spots, each with a private viewing deck and plunge pool. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer fabulous views of the surrounding bush, creating a feeling of being totally immersed in the wilderness. Natural colours and textures are incorporated in the sumptuous interiors, with en-suite bathrooms featuring deep stand-alone baths, and both indoor and outdoor showers. An open fireplace and underfloor heating are welcome treats during the chilly winter months.
