Highlights

With only a small dome tent between you and the wilderness, this is adventure camping at its best!

See a different side to the bush on guided bush walk with one of the superb local guides.

Make the most of the exclusive night drives, not possible in many of Kenya's national parks.

The property

The camp is spread out in a tranquil clearing beneath groves of mature acacia trees, with an open-sided canvas dining and bar tent in the centre. Comfy outdoor chairs are dotted around the area and perfect for sinking into with a pair of binos or cup of tea for a lazy afternoon enjoying the peace and quiet. Food is simple, campfire-fare, but very tasty and wholesome (and just what you need after a long day in the bush).

The region is famous for its vast herds of elephants, and offers superb photographic opportunities of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Guided early morning, afternoon and night drives are led by highly experienced Maasai guides and trackers. Bush walks are also available, as are visits to a nearby Maasai village for a small taster of the local culture.
