Gorilla Heights Lodge

Nestled in Nkuringo, at the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable forest, this location provides multiple options for gorilla trekking. The closest being the Nkuringo trail head, which is about 30 minutes from the lodge. Gorilla Heights has 15 cottages that all derive their names from the attractions surrounding the lodge. The family cottage is named Silverback, after the alpha male and head of a gorilla family. The lodge’s main restaurant and lounge area is called Humura, a translation of the word 'rest' in the local language. Gorilla Heights also has a heated swimming pool and spa facility with a steam bath and sauna.
