About Hotel Las Torres Patagonia

A family-owned hideaway at the foot of Patagonia's most iconic peaks.
Poised at the gateway of the legendary W Trek, this authentic estancia delivers front-row seats to nature's grand performance. The Kusanovic family has called this dramatic corner of Patagonia home since the early 20th century, transforming their working ranch into an adventure-seeker's paradise. From the cosy lounge, floor-to-ceiling windows frame those impossible-to-ignore towers, while the property's own organic garden and farm supply the kitchen with its distinctly Patagonian flavours.

Property details

The property

Weathered wood and handwoven textiles define the hotel's main areas, creating a classic estancia atmosphere. The restaurant plates up traditional dishes straight from the property's organic garden and farm - try the house specialty slow-roasted lamb. The bar stocks an impressive selection of Chilean wines and local craft beers, perfect for post-hike relaxation. There's a small spa for muscle-soothing treatments, while the working stables maintain a fleet of horses for rides across the windswept pampas.

The rooms

All 74 rooms embrace a distinctly Patagonian aesthetic with wooden furnishings and earthy tones. Each offers views of either the towering peaks or the wild Patagonian steppe, with cosy beds positioned to make the most of the vistas. The rooms are intentionally television-free, letting nature take centre stage through large windows. Heating is efficient - a welcome touch after those crisp mountain walks.

The weather can change rapidly here - pack layers and don't let a bit of rain put you off, some of the most dramatic photos happen when the clouds part.
