Rhino Post Safari Lodge has a beautiful, contemporary design built from natural materials like stone, wood, thatch and canvas to create an authentic bush environment. Walkways are raised and battery power is used for lighting. The main lounge has a cosy fireplace and is the perfect spot for a sundowner. Meals are served in the camp’s dining area, which is set under magnificent Tamboti trees. There is a revitalising swimming pool for guests to relax in while overlooking the waterhole.
There are 8 luxury suites sleeping up to 16 guests. The suites are elegantly decorated and have an open plan style with wooden floors, thatched roofs, and canvas walls. They are raised with stilts allowing amazing views of the riverbed from the bathroom, the outdoor shower and the patio deck. The en-suite bathrooms have deep, freestanding baths, dual wash basins, and outdoor showers. The bathroom floor is attractively decorated with delicate mosaic designs.
There are morning and evening safari drives with highly experienced rangers in a prime wildlife area. Between February and April, there are excellent birding opportunities as migrant birds are in residence. At the lodge, guests can enjoy excellent game viewing and photographic opportunities from the main deck overlooking the waterhole, swim in the refreshing swimming pool or indulge in a massage in their bush suite.
In the very heart of the Kruger National Park, you’ll find wildlife galore and guides who know the bush like their own backyard.
