Serengeti Sametu Camp

Located on the eastern edge of the Seronera Valley and near the famous Barafu Kopjes, Sametu Camp boasts seclusion, wide open spaces and stunning landscapes.

This 8-tented camp offers spacious sleeping quarters, en suite bathrooms with flush toilets as well as running water and 24 hour electricity.

The tents range in size from 260 square feet (sq. ft.), 415 sq. ft., to a massive 515 sq. ft. for the Family Tent. There are 4 tents with king size beds, 3 tents with twin beds and 1 family tent that features 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with two twin beds, making it ideal for two adults and one to two children to share.

All tents face the west affording wonderful views of the sunset over the vast savannah plains. To add to the beauty of it’s location, the Ngarenanyuki River meanders alongside the camp attracting wildlife year round to the spring fed watering hole.

A separate dining tent with a relaxing lounge and bar area is located in the center of the camp. Additionally the camp is staffed with a chef who delights in winning over your culinary senses with his own famous dishes and a gracious team devoted to meeting your every need.
