Spend your days enjoying the mountains, pristine beaches and a buzzing restaurant scene. If you have the time take a drive down to the end of the Cape Point Peninsula and stop to see the famous penguins! If you're into your food and wine then spend a day out in the Cape Winelands with numerous world class restaurants.

We can assist with organising a variety of activities in the Cape Town area. Many of these are easy to do on your own, but if you prefer a private car with driver-guide, we can arrange that at additional cost.

La Fontaine is closely located to the fun and bustle of the main street in Franschhoek.

Food and wine are the lifebloods of the Cape Winelands and with hundreds of pristine vineyards and glossy restaurants to choose from, you’ll never (ever) want for something delicious.

There is no shortage of activities and experiences from wine tastings to wandering the art galleries, exploring the vineyards on horseback and taking a trip on the wine tram we can organise it all for you.

A scenic drive takes you from Franschhoek to Hermanus. On the way, there are a smattering of picturesque pit stops to explore and try your luck at catching a glimpse of a pod of Southern Right Whales. Hermanus and most of the coastline is of course famous for its exceptional land-based whale watching, but you’ll have to be visiting between July and November when they migrate towards Cape Point.

Otherwise, days can easily be spent mulling over a glass of wine from Hemel-en-Aarde Valley (literally meaning Heaven and Earth), your gaze fixed on the water… If you fancy a few thrills, go cage diving with Great White Sharks or hike into the fynbos-scented mountains for stunning views of the surrounds.

The town of Knysna is bursting with charm. It’s a place to slow down and breathe in lungfuls of salty sea air (glass of wine in hand), whilst enjoying the restaurants and cafes that line the lagoon and the pretty boutiques full of arts and crafts. For water-based activities, head to the harbour and take your pick from the numerous companies peddling their wares, including yacht or speedboat trips around the glorious Heads, catamaran cruises, kayak excursions, as well as snorkelling and diving in the lagoon.
