Get ready for a thrilling expedition to the ice-encrusted Antarctic. There's truly nowhere like it...
This two-week adventure will take you to the heart of the Antarctic Peninsula, which rises from the ocean in a ridge of sky-high mountains and islands. You'll first sail along Argentina's Beagle Channel and the infamous Drake Passage, before entering the Antarctic, accompanied by swooping albatrosses and petrels. Take in every inch of this surreal destination on Zodiac cruises and kayaking trips, where icebergs stand as tall as buildings, whales spout just a few metres away, and raucous colonies of penguins and seals play nearby. You may also pay a visit to a former research station on Goudier Island, or spend a memorable night camping on snowy shores. Your final stop is the South Shetland Islands, an archipelago home to a spectacular array of wildlife including sea birds and Weddell seals. Throughout the cruise, an exciting array of activities including mountaineering, snowshoeing, and more are included in your adventurous journey. For experienced divers, you may even have the opportunity to go into the glacial waters under the surface, exploring a silent world of ice walls and shipwrecks where peacock worms, jellyfish and leopard seals float by.
