An indoor breakfast room and outdoor terrace make the most of the staggering vistas and sense of space. Huge slabs of rock, chunky wooden pillars, contemporary colours and quirky hand-crafted furniture blend together to create a comfy and peaceful haven in the middle of the stark desert landscape.

The lodge's twelve double or twin bungalows and three-bedroomed villa all boast fabulous desert views, each with big windows and a private balcony. From the outside, curved rooftops and rounded walls mimic the undulating dunes, and vibrantly coloured wall panels contrast the subtle desert tones. Inside, retro art and eccentric finishing touches add a sense of fun to the spacious, comfortably furnished rooms. Each is en-suite, with a homely sitting room, charming wood fire for winter warmth and ceiling fans for the searing summer heat.
