About Gorges Lodge
The unique Gorges Lodge is perched on the very edge of the Batoka Gorge, a short drive from Victoria Falls. The outstanding views it boasts, along with the silence of the remote wilderness makes it a peaceful and idyllic place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of Victoria Falls town. The property
The main central lodge building has a spacious and welcoming lounge area, a restaurant and a bar. It is built on a raised deck of indigenous hardwood and has extraordinary views of the Batoka Gorge and the rushing waters of the Zambezi River. Set within landscaped gardens, it also has a swimming pool. There is free Wi-Fi in the main lodge area. The rare Verraux’s eagles breed in the gorge, and can often be seen as they hunt.

The rooms
The accommodation consists of 10 stone and thatch chalets situated on the edge of the precipice, with dramatic views over the gorge and the mighty Zambezi River. Four are double storey and the other six are single storey. All have private verandas with stunning views. The chalets are set in landscaped gardens and have en-suite bathrooms with showers, stocked mini-bars, hair dryers, ceiling fans, electronic safes and tea and coffee making facilities. All other Victoria Falls based activities can be organised on request.
