About Linkwasha Camp

Offering the exclusivity and flexibility of a private concession with access to the breadth of Hwange National Park, Linkwasha boasts a rustic-elegance in the heart of one of Zimbabwe's most pristine wilderness areas. It's possible to combine luxury with a back-to-basics approach: fine dining under the stars, elegant cocktails with the sand beneath your feet, open-air rooms with uninterrupted vistas of the plains and a much-frequented waterhole. You won't find cell phone signal or wi-fi here, what you will find is decidedly down-to-earth hospitality and beautiful interiors that point toward one common aim: restoring your connection to the wilderness.

Highlights

Game drives and guided walks with world-class guides. Zimbabwe is known for its rigorous guiding requirements that are known to produce the best in the business.

The stylish main area boasts a large pool and luxurious sun loungers. Enjoy the cozy, fire-warmed library during winter months without sacrificing views of the plains beyond.

Cultural activities including visits to local Ngamo village, where you can interact with the kids at Ngamo school's eco-club.

The property

On the edge of a rosewood woodland, the camp overlooks a vast plain with a highly productive waterhole. With large multi-level decks offering plenty of seating and dining and pool-side lounging, you'll be spoiled for choice. The pool itself is ample and always refreshing. The library/lounge is a cool breezy reprieve during the summer and a cozy refuge during the winter months - sip a sherry fireside while looking out through the enormous glass windows, or choose from the hundreds of well-curated books.

The rooms

Seven double rooms and two family units host an intimate gathering of twenty two guests. Large four-poster beds with romantic safari textiles and furnishings and ceiling-to-floor sliding glass doors give these tents a chic and modern yet traditional feel. The especially adventurous will enjoy dozing under the stars on the open-air sleeping deck. Enjoy a drink on your own private deck, overlooking the plain and waterhole for relaxed, arm-chair between-activity game viewing.
