About Nuss Buenos Aires Soho

Prime location and service in a boutique hotel that is equal parts bohemian and stylish.
A relatively young hotel, Nuss Buenos Aires Soho is a former Spanish-style convent. The building dates back over a century but today, it has been completely refurbished and is a Scandi-cool and very refreshing take on deluxe accommodation. Location-wise, it sits just a block away from the heart of Palermo, the Plaza Serrano, a colourful and bustling square famous for its weekend street fairs and collection of trendy bars and restaurants. At the hotel itself, the facilities are impeccable and the hospitality, world-class, making it the perfect base from which to explore the endless sights of Buenos Aries.

Property details

The property

Most of the hotel is set around a Spanish-style atrium, a legacy of the building’s former convent status. The vibe throughout is hip and soothing, helped along by potted palms and plenty of pale wood and stone. Breakfast is buffet style and served in the informal lobby, where simple but yummy dishes are also on offer for lunch and dinner. The star of Nuss, however, is the amazing rooftop terrace. With plenty of lounging space and bursting with geraniums and twinkling for lights, it’s the ideal spot to enjoy the sunsets - and there’s even a small pool to cool off on a warm day.

The rooms

Spread over three floors, Nuss Buenos Aires Soho offers 22 rooms - either superior or deluxe - all generous in space and filled with natural light. White and grey tones and shiny wooden floors add to the chilled-out vibe. The King-sized beds are comfy, the bathrooms are bright and spacious and come with a bathtub, and deluxe rooms even have a charming little balcony with a table for two - ideal for a nightcap!

Activities

Palermo Soho is always bursting with activity so, whichever direction you decide to walk in, you’ll find something to see. The weekend street fair at Plaza Serrano is filled with local artisans and designers - the perfect place to score a unique outfit or piece of jewellery - and the sheer number of bars and restaurants around could keep you busy for days. Back at the hotel, wind down at the sauna or burn off some of that prime Argentinian fillet the gym - and of course there’s always the pool and rooftop terrace!

For a peaceful morning, escape to the green-filled Botanical Gardens. Only a (lovely) 15-minute walk away, they are a national monument and definitely worth exploring.
Something to think about

Something to think about

The hotel’s version of a restaurant is more of an informal lounge by the lobby, so don’t expect a huge or sophisticated menu. But trust us, there are restaurants aplenty all around so just take your pick!
