About Posada Verde Oliva

A darling, farmhouse-style hotel surrounded by acres of vines and olive groves.
The very essence of Argentine charm, Posada Verde Oliva is a 19th-century home-turned-hotel set on a working vineyard and olive farm. From the wrap-around veranda, gaze out upon the ripening grapes and olives, the latter of which are turned into remedies used at the spa. Set in the heart of the Maipu Valley, there is plenty to see and do including vineyard-hopping tours, scenic bicycle rides, and horseback sojourns amongst the vines. Laidback and homely, you'll be welcomed warmly back to the Posada Verde Olivia after every excursion, when you can settle down in the firelit lounge or recline poolside.

Property details

The property

With exposed beam ceilings, a vintage estancia style and French doors opening onto a spacious monochrome-tiled terrace, you'll feel right at home at the Posada Verde Oliva. Each day begins with a buffet breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries and eggs to order, while dinner is available on request, accompanied by a selection of fabulous house wines. The hotel sits in a large, pretty garden where you'll find a pool lined with sun loungers. Grab a drink from the honesty bar and get comfortable!

The rooms

The hotel has 10 rooms – basic or premium – the latter of which are larger and enjoy their own patio. Eclectic and full of colour, the rooms are simply furnished with vintage pieces, and equipped with aircon and satellite TV. There is also the Loft, which boasts a King-size bed, dining table, lounge and fully-equipped kitchen with a Nespresso machine. Set amongst three acres of olive trees, but still within walking distance of the main hotel, the Villa Verde Oliva enjoys its own pool and supreme privacy.

Activities

When you're not cooling off at the pool or luxuriating with an olive-infused treatment at the spa, there's a whole host of activities to get involved with. You could choose to take a tour of nearby vineyards and sample their own blends, or explore the scenic landscape on two wheels or horseback. Back at the farm, you'll have the chance to join in with the harvesting of olives and get a little insight into the region's industry.
