Property details

The property

Light and uplifting with whites, creams, stone and bleached wood, the reception, lounge and dining area are very easy on the eye. Outdoors, there is a centralised zen garden and nest chairs for relaxing and reading in.

The rooms

Step into your own private beach house. The seven standard rooms, seven luxury rooms and family suite are all decorated in whites with a dash of navy. The rooms are en suite and we love the massaging stone floors in the shower and the his and her basins. All rooms come with a minibar and television.

Activities

Ideally situated on the waters of the Atlantic ocean and brushing up against the Namib desert, the activity list in this town rivals many other tourist destinations. Go ballooning, skydiving, quad biking through the desert or head on a boat and find the dolphins common to this coastline. Otherwise eat an ice cream on the promenade and tour the historic town. Your days will be packed, if you want them to be.

Insiders tip

Insiders Tip

The owners are very helpful with tour recommendations and restaurant reservations. Chat to them about what activities you’d like to do and they’ll help you plan it.
Something to think about

Something to think about

For a bit of added space to play with, we'd opt for a room with a private patio (although they're quite small).

Namibia

Swakopmund

Namibia’s extreme sports playground with more than a touch of Germany in the air.
