Along the peaceful and less-visited southeast coast of Zanzibar, Breezes enjoys near-private access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
For a special evening a deux, book a private gazebo or candlelit dinner on the beach.
Breezes' style is quite old-fashioned with a blend of ancient Zanzibari pieces with rich textiles. It's beautiful, but certainly not a Maldives-esque resort...
Built on the whitest sand and set amongst palm trees the main area is under a tall thatched roof. There are plenty of places to relax with a refreshing cup of tea or favourite cocktail and just watch the beach life go by. Just behind the main area is the Frangipani Spa enticing guests to experience a range of specialist therapies. On the beach front is the water sports centre with hammocks and sunbeds if you just wish to observe the various activities.
Breezes has a total of 74 guest rooms in a range of sizes from a standard garden room to a two-storey villa which is usually rented out to a single group. All the rooms have air conditioning and are stylishly furnished with designs sympathetic to the local Zanzibari culture. The rooms are all ensuite and have a sofa/bed which provides space to relax and unwind in private or alternatively can be utilised as a third bed.
